Age-related diseases are linked to vitamin and mineral insufficiences

 

Many vitamins and minerals have been discovered as a matter of course through disease. Common nutrients such as vitamin C, D and vitamin K are vital for healthy tissues and bodies.

New research has now revealed that these known nutrients have a direct linked to age- related diseases.

Fat soluable vitamin K has been shown to help prevent conditions sich as osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, cancer, osteoarthritis and Alzheimer's disease.

Studies have revealed that majority of healthy adult population bone and arteries are deficient in vitamin K, resulting in a higher risk of fractures and an increase risk of cardiovascular mortality.

 

Studies were conducted by NattoPharma and Masstricht University, Netherlands.
